In this lesson, you learned how to solve a simple one-step inequality using the division property of equality. By using inverse operations, you were able to isolate the variable and flip the inequality sign when dividing by a negative number. It's important to remember to always write the variable first and to graph the solution on a number line to check if the inequality is true or false.
