Introduction to writing inequalities and determining if they are true or false.
 What are inequalities?
 What do <, >, <=, and >= mean?
 Is 4 > 5?
 Is 4 > 5?
 Is 3 2/7 > 3 3/10?
 Is 5 <= 5?
 Is 8 >= 7?
 Is 11 <= 11?
 How do you translate word statements into inequalities?
 How do you write seven is less than ten as an inequality?
 How would you write seven less than ten as a math statement?
This lesson is an introduction to the inequality symbols, what they mean, and how to use a number line to determine inequality. Several examples are shown and a number line is used to show that certain inequalities are true or false. This is a great way to learn about inequality.
