The first part of lesson 1 of multiplying fractions.
- How do you multiply fractions using a number line?
- How do you multiply a whole number by a fraction?
- How do you multiply 1/2 by 8/3?
This is the first part of a lesson on multiplying fractions, which can be complicating to students at times. A number line is used to explain what it really means to multiply fractions. The video also shows how to multiply fractions across the top and across the bottom.
This website is an excellent and engaging way to help students with all levels of math. I love it for myself (as a University student) and for my children.
I really think my students will like this video. It will be great to use as a review for material. Having the "small" teacher is attention getting and the examples are clear and easy to follow.
awesome lessons that are really broken down for older students.
