  • How can you tell if a number is written in scientific notation?
  • How do you change a number in scientific notation to decimal notation?
  • How do you know which way to move the decimal point with scientific notation?
This video is a great intro to scientific notation, how it is written, and how to write numbers that are in scientific notation in decimal notation. The first few problems are explained using fractions. You will learn which way to move the decimal point when converting from scientific notation.
